Developer hands over its first ever homes at record-breaking project

Arada has delivered its first homes to owners, a little over two years since its debut project, Nasma Residences, was launched. The developer began the handover process for buyers in Phase 1 of the project, which consists of 107 villas and townhouses, in April, with the first keys being handed over to purchasers on 28 May.

HE Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of Arada, said: “Today marks a milestone in the history of Arada. Since the founding of the company in 2016, some 3,500 buyers have put their faith in Arada by purchasing their future homes with us. It therefore gives us immense pleasure to be able to repay that trust by handing over our first units.

“These owners are today moving into a community that benefits from an exceptional location, incredible facilities and modern design. We are now focusing on selling the last remaining units in Nasma Residences, as well as making sure that every home is delivered by the end of June next year.”

Arada also announced that the construction contracts for Phases 4 and 5 of Nasma Residences had also been awarded. Intermass Engineering and Contracting won the contract to build 302 units in Phase 4, while Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al-Kharafi and Sons Company will build the 178 units in Phase 5. The entire community will be completed by the end of June 2020.

Launched in March 2017, Nasma Residences swiftly became Sharjah’s fastest-selling community when its first phase sold out in less than a month. Investors were quickly won over by the project’s enviable location, competitive pricing and superb facilities.

Spread over a 5 million square foot area, Nasma Residences contains more than 900 beautifully designed townhouses and villas that are placed within a family-focused master plan that makes the most of lush green spaces.

The community features Nasma Square, a retail centre, and Nasma Central, a community space featuring gyms, an outdoor swimming pool, a nursery, a supermarket and a series of cafes and restaurants that overlooks a 13-acre landscaped destination park. Other facilities include a GEMS international school, two smaller community parks and a mosque.

Residents of Nasma Residences also benefit from outstanding amenities within a radius of five kilometres, including the recently opened Mosque of Sharjah, the largest in the Emirate; Sharjah Botanical Garden and Sharjah Convention Centre, which are both scheduled to open in the coming years; and Tilal Mall, which is set to be one of the biggest in Sharjah when it opens.

Construction at Nasma Residences began in December 2017, and the entire community is scheduled for completion by the end of the second quarter of 2020.

Founded in late 2016, Arada’s second project, Aljada, is Sharjah’s largest mixed-use community, spread over a 24 million square foot area in the heart of the city. Featuring a number of high-class partnerships, including with Zaha Hadid Architects and Emaar Hospitality Group, construction at Aljada is well under way, with the first homes set to be delivered to owners by the end of 2019.
